A New Year’s reception was held on 30 January, jointly hosted by Ambassador Ichikawa, Permanent Representative to the Conference on Disarmament; Ambassador Oike, Permanent Representative of Japan to the International Organizations in Geneva; Ambassador Nagai, Permanent Representative of Japan to WTO, WIPO, UNCTAD; and Mr. Hagino, Chief of the Consular Office in Geneva.
Approximately 140 members of the Japanese community in Geneva attended the reception.
