Japan-Kiribati-Mexico Side Event on Nuclear Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Education

　On 7th May 2025, Japan, Kiribati, and Mexico co-organized a side event titled “Advancing Nuclear Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Education” at the UNHQ in New York on the occasion of the Third Session of the Preparatory Committee for the 2026 NPT Review Conference.
　Ambassador Ichikawa, as one of the panelists of this event, explained various initiatives by the Government of Japan, to convey the reality of the use of nuclear weapons to the international community and to promote youth engagement.
