A reception to celebrate His Majesty the Emperor’s Birthday was held on 5 March. The reception was jointly hosted by Ambassador Ichikawa, Permanent Representative to the Conference on Disarmament, Ambassador Oike, Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Geneva, Ambassador Hikota, Deputy Permanent Representative to the International Organizations and Mr. Hagino, Chief of the Consular Office in Geneva.
Ambassadors from other Permanent Missions and heads of international organizations in Geneva were among the approximately 340 guests in attendance.
