On 11 November 2011, at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, “Toward a World Free of Nuclear Weapons”, speeches were delivered by the Director-General of UNOG (Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev), Disarmament Ambassador of Japan (Mr. Mari Amano), the Mayor of Hiroshima (Mr. Kazumi Matsui), the Mayor of Nagasaki (Mr. Tomihisa Taue), a Special Communicator for a World Without Nuclear Weapons (Ms. Shigemi Fukabori), and three Nagasaki High School Peace Messengers.
